This time of year is busy for everyone, and that includes the team at Pearl Dentistry. Dr. Jayme Glamm, Dr. Stefanie Walker, and all of the staff like to use this time of year to give back to the community and reflect on the past year. Here’s what your dentist in Denver has been up to in 2016.
Holiday Lights Sponsors
All the families in Denver look forward to the Holiday Lights event each year. It’s one of the best and most festive ways to kick off the holiday season. Everyone gets to enjoy tasty food, live music, and may even get a picture with Santa. It is all capped off with the lighting of a huge Christmas tree. Pearl Dentistry decided to get in on the fun this year and sponsor the face-painting booth. We were happy to have a part in creating all the little elves, cats, and other creatures running around the event. Our staff had a great time and look forward to being involved again next year.
Mouthguards for North High School Basketball
One of the easiest ways to protect your teeth is to wear a mouthguard while playing sports. Of course, this is especially important for the North High School Vikings Girls Basketball Team. We decided to help keep them safe and healthy this year by donating custom-made mouthguards to the entire team. Sports injuries to teeth can be very painful, and trying to avoid them could easily distract the girls from the game, so we decided to take care of it. Our mouthguards are uniquely made for each girl so that they have a fit that is comfortable, and can keep their concentration where it needs to be: on the ball. This program has been so well received that we’re already planning on donating mouthguards to the boy’s team next year. Go Vikings!
An Award-Winning Year
One of our proudest moments came this year as well, as we were selected as one of the Best Dentists of 2016 by 5280 Magazine. We were selected using peer evaluations from over 800 dentists across Colorado. We are honored that so many of our colleagues thought of us when it came time to make their selections. The team at Pearl Dentistry all work hard every day to provide Denver with the best possible service than we can. We’re so flattered to gain recognition for it, and it only motivates us to strive for more next year.
Looking Ahead
We have a lot of big plans for 2017, and most of them involve helping Denver’s smiles. We’re proud to serve such a culturally rich area, and look forward to what the future has to bring. We’re going to be more involved in the community in 2017, so we can’t wait to meet all of you both inside and outside of the office.
